Start with a chosen count

Suppose you choose a target of five matching jogger pairs and already hold two usable matching pairs. This is a user-selected stock example, not a recommended wardrobe size or a prediction of washing frequency. The selected Black Mix offer supplies two pairs per whole retail pack.

Subtract matching usable stock

The additional requirement is three pairs. Whole-pack arithmetic rounds three divided by two upward to two packs, adding four pairs. Final matching stock becomes six, one above the chosen target. It would be misleading to report 1.5 packs as a purchasable offer or to hide the extra pair.

Round only the purchase quantity

If matching usable stock already exceeds the target, the additional requirement is zero and the tool does not invent a negative order. If you choose the retail-pack basis instead, both target and held values must count packs. An unknown quantity or complete-outfit basis remains unsupported.

Read the surplus and limits

This arithmetic does not reserve stock or override seller quantity limits. A much larger target needs a current supplier check, not an assumption that unlimited packs can be purchased. No wearing life, days of use, growth allowance or individual fit is calculated from the count.

Apply it to the selected purchase

If the two pairs already held are another colour or size that does not meet your chosen requirement, do not count them as matching merely to reduce the calculated order.
